Good afternoon Fairmount Family,

Forecaster
A new Forecaster is now online. This week’s Forecaster has a wonderful article on a Display of Courage by U.S. Marine Captain Stephen Alexander, a COVID-19 Communication from our Elders, and the Kids & Teen page.  Open this week’s Forecaster

Onward Christmas Campaign
Please make your gift by using one of the Christmas or green Onward envelopes available at church. Please memo your check “Onward Christmas”. You may also give through our website www.fairmountcc.org/giving/ and through Pushpay. This campaign will run through January 31, 2021.

 PRC Baby Bottle Campaign
The Pregnancy Resource Center (PRC) of Metro Richmond provides compassionate care to women and men unprepared for pregnancies by offering resources and practical assistance for life-affirming choices.  In all the services provided, living out the love and Gospel of Jesus Christ remains central to their mission.  Your CHANGE can CHANGE LIVES!! Pick up a baby bottle in the lobby and fill it with coins, bills, or a check payable to the PRC.  Details are inside each bottle.  Return filled bottles by Sunday, February 7th to the WC or Sanctuary lobby.  For those who are attending virtually and would like to participate, you can donate online by going to www.fairmountcc.org/giving/ and selecting “PRC Baby Bottle Campaign” from the dropdown list under fund. For more information on how the PRC helps change lives, visit www.friendsofprcrichmond.org.

Sweetheart Couples
Fairmount’s Youth Ministry would like to recognize our church couples who have been married 50 years or longer.  Unfortunately we will not be able to have our normal Sweetheart Banquet, but we still wish to celebrate this significant blessing! If you are new with us or have celebrated your 50th anniversary this year, please send an email with your anniversary date as well as a wedding picture (or early picture) as well as a current photo to kbarnes@fairmountchristian.org. You are welcome to drop off these items in the church office as well. Please submit your photo by February 8, 2021.

**We are practicing social distancing and following the governor’s mask mandate in all classes and worship services. Masks are available at each entrance.**

Worship & Bible School Registration
We encourage you to register each week to let us know which worship service you plan to attend as well as any Bible School, Children’s, or Youth Ministry programs. This step will help us prepare properly for the crowd size for each hour of worship and to know the amount of classroom space needed. You are always welcome to come to worship, even if you forget to register! Click HERE to register.

Worship Times

  • 8:00 – Traditional in the Sanctuary
  • 9:00 – Contemporary in the Worship Center
  • 10:15 – Traditional in the Sanctuary
  • 11:15 – Modern in the Worship Center

The 9:00, 10:15, and 11:15 services are live streamed and can be accessed at fairmountcc.org.

Sermon Series Arise – January 3-24
