Avenel Clersaint is the pastor of the Tabarre Christian Church in Tabarre, Haiti. Avenel works tirelessly caring for his congregation, preaching, training new ministers, and planting new churches. He and his wife, Myrlene, have three children.
Tabarre Christian Academy provides education to children from Pre-K through the 9th grade. The children learn many of the same things as children in the United States – English, Math, Science, History, and Social Studies. They also learn Creole, French, and the Bible. The smaller children learn socialization skills like sharing, talking instead of crying or shouting, and listening to the teacher.
